Sports Notes:
Final round of the AAA state consolation rounds that determined who would take third and fourth places in the Team Championships
The match was a rematch between Kiski Area and Upper Perkiomen (a team from Pennsburg, PA near Reading)
Upper Perk was the team that knocked Kiski out of the hunt for the state title, in the quarterfinals just the day before this match was held.
The loss sent the Cavaliers to the Consolation rounds where they fought their way back through 3 matches to reach these finals.
After the initial win over Kiski in the quarterfinals, Upper Perk then lost their next round in the semifinals to Easton (4-time defending state champ and the eventual State runner-up,) which returned Upper Perk to the consolations to face Kiski again in the consolation finals.
Held at Giant Center in Hershey, PA on Saturday, February 12th, 2005.
This end of this video includes the awarding of medals to Kiski Area wrestlers.
