     Affordable Country Club Dining
     http://www.alle-kiskitoday.com/articles/1870

When you think of a Country Club you often associate the words
exclusive and expensive with it, but Willowbrook County Club
restaurant is anything but that. Probably one of the areas
biggest secrets is the Club’s great restaurant that has
tantalizing entrees, superb service and a relaxing atmosphere
set in the country. Pricing is modest, the menu is extensive
and there has never been a complaint about the food or
     service.

     OUR LOCAL HERITAGE
     http://www.alle-kiskitoday.com/articles/archives/8

How Lower and Upper Burrell Came Into Existence: Lower and
Upper Burrell townships were organized in 1879 by a division
of Burrell townships into two parts. The citizen’s petition of
the Burrell Township asked for a division on account of
various reasons and on December 22d they presented their
petition to the court, with Judge James A. Logan on the bench.
On January 18, 1879, the prayer of the petitioners was finally
granted, and the townships were named Upper and Lower Burrell.
The original Burrell Township had been taken from Allegheny
Township in 1852, while Judge Jeremiah Murry Burrell was on
the bench, and the new division was named in his honor. The
     boundaries of the old township were north by Allegheny County;
on the east by Washington County; on the southeast by Franklin
Township, and on the west by the Allegheny River, which
separates our county from Allegheny County. Read more

     The New SAT
     http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4528303

the SAT that is longer and harder than previous versions and,
for the first time, includes a mandatory writing component."
This series of news stories reports on the new SAT (Scholastic
Aptitude Test). The site also includes opinion pieces on the
SAT from education administrators and links to fact sheets and

     TODAY’S FEATURED WEB SITES

     MiniArcade.com
     http://www.miniarcade.com/

During the 1970s and 1980s, some of the biggest competitors in
the market produced handheld versions of their full-size
arcade counterparts. For those persons with a penchant for
such devices, Steven Read has created this fun website which
features photographs and profiles of some of these time-
honored favorites. The miniature arcade games are organized
under their respective companies, such as Tandy, Nintendo,
Mattel, and of course, Coleco. In fact, many visitors will
find it interesting that several of these companies (Coleco
and Tandy) started life as companies that made leather goods.
Regardless of this fact, there are dozens of fine old arcade
chestnuts to revisit here, including Dig-Dug, Mr. Do, and that
most legendary of all pixilated of the great apes, Donkey
     Kong.

visual alerts. Stockmat 9.2 is compatible only with Microsoft
     Windows 95 or newer.
