WHAT’S NEW IN ALLE_KISKI TODAY ONLINE

     New Kensington Church Expands Ministry
     http://www.alle-kiskitoday.com/articles/1772

Arnold Rivers of Life Outreach Ministry was founded by a group
of seven people that had been led to minister to people in the
streets. All sharing the same vision they started by holding
street meetings that led to bible studies in the project’s
community center. They then moved to Lazarus Tomb in Arnold
and then to the Salvation Army. Within three years they
established the church at 4th Street in New Kensington and
have continued there to recently. Read what just happened.

Kiski Area wrestlers picked where they left off last year,
avenging last year's loss on their way to clobbering two
schools Tuesday night to advance to the WPIAL semi-finals.

THE FIRST: Likely the first recorded European to pass through
the Kiski Valley was a man named Arnout Viele. In 1692, on a
mission to the Ohio River for the New York governor, he led a
group down the Allegheny River, passing the Kiski River near
present day Freeport. Read more interesting history at Our

Ray Bartha and the Apollo-Ridge Lady Vikings:
     Giving All They've Got
     http://www.alle-kiskitoday.com/articles/1771

The Lady Vikings are one of many Alle-Kiski area teams whose
coaches regularly put together demanding schedules for the
season against much-stronger opponents. Those coaches don't
enjoy seeing their teams get whupped, but they know giving
their players opportunities to face those difficult
challenges, builds something great inside them.
