     OUR LOCAL HERITAGE
     http://www.alle-kiskitoday.com/

Echoes Of Abby: 14-yr-old Abby was with her dad on their
Murrysville farm, when Indians grabbed them, taking them to
their camp near today's Ross Hollow Rd in Plum. Later whisked
to Logan's Ferry and taken across the Allegheny, New York
Indians, then British Loyalists held them prisoner until
their safe 1781 release. Years later, she moved to the
township of her overnight captivity--Plum, living with her
daughter and her husband, William Greer. Today Abby's
descendants--the Greer families--still live in Plum. Read
