behind the badge. Photos of his wife and four girls, sports
memorabilia, and signs of his faith bring warmth and
personality to his comfortable office. Each piece represents

          * Although Lucas Poloff left the playing field at the
last Saltsburg Trojans varsity football game with a broken
fibula, he considered the season an overall success. With 127
total tackles and 5.4 yards per carry, his record speaks
volumes about his incredible athletic abilities. "We had a
good season this year, the program is defiantly turning
     around."

     How Firewalls Work
     http://computer.howstuffworks.com/firewall.htm

Firewalls have helped protect computers in large companies
for years. Now, they're a critical component of home
networks, as well. How do they help keep computer networks
secure? If you have a fast Internet connection into your home
(either a DSL connection or a cable modem), you may have
found yourself hearing about firewalls for your home network
as well. It turns out that a small home network has many of
the same security issues that a large corporate network does.
You can use a firewall to protect your home network and
family from offensive Web sites and potential hackers. Learn
how firewalls work and see what they can do for your home
     network.

     A Dictionary of Quotations
     http://www.bartleby.com/73/

The 2,100 entries in this eminently researched collection
form the constellation of collected wisdom in American
political debate. In fulfilling decades of requests from
Members of Congress for citation of quotations, the Library
of Congress compiled the most frequently asked questions of
the legislature for the edification of every citizen.

Teacher Certification Requirements for 50 States
     http://www.uky.edu/Education/TEP/usacert.html

In an effort to facilitate the movement from one state to
another, the UK College of Education will attempt to collect
the teacher certification requirements for the 50 States. We
recognize that States are continually revising their teacher
certification/licensure rules and requirements. This page is
intended to help you gather planning information on states of
your choice! You might want to look at the certification
requirements and later look for position announcements in the
     State.
