The Loyalhanna Path, a major path thru parts of the Kiski
Valley in the 1700s, ran from the Latrobe area along
Loyalhanna Creek to the Saltsburg area. It apparently
followed part of the Kiski River then cut across parts of
Allegheny Township to join up with the Kiskiminetas Path
     somewhere outside the Vandergrift area.
