Apollo lost 29 buildings to a major fire in 1876, causing
over $32,000 in damage in dollars of that day. The tragedy
spurred Apollo citizens to quickly invest in its water system
and fire departments to prevent future calamities like this.

This year is going to be a year of rebuilding, Ladies
Blue Devils softball Coach Jim Oberdorf stated, and a
learning experience for us all. He was speaking of this
years team from Leechburg. Originally, Jim took on the
position of coaching the team as a temporary one
until
they could find someone else. That was 20 years ago!

KID'S COMMUNITY BIBLE CLUB
For all children in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Saturday nights from 6:30 to 8:30pm at the CPAC building

Bible stories, and live appearances by Bible characters and

PANCAKE AND SAUSAGE BREAKFAST TOMORROW
There will be a Pancake and Sausage Breakfast held at the
Gray Stone Presbyterian Church on April 6 from 7:30am to
11:30am. The church is located on Main Street in Leechburg.
The cost for this is $4 adults; $2 children 6-12; and free
for children under 6. The event is sponsored by the
Leechburg Rotary. You can buy tickets from any Rotarian or
at the door.
