     tunnel.  I  thought you might be interested in some pictures.  My
     mother  worked at the Glove Co. I think she was about  16  or  17
     years old. That would be about 1914 or 1915. I sure do enjoy your

     Massy Harbison was captured by Indians while sleeping in her
      cabin near Freeport.  This was in May 1792.  She managed to
      escape six days later and was rescued on Six Mile Island by

     CITIZEN OF THE YEAR NOMINEES CHOSEN
     The   Victorian  Vandergrift  Museum  and  Historical  Society
     recently named nominees for VVMHS Citizen of the Year in their
     monthly   publication,   Winding  Streets.   The   Vandergrift
     organization  annually honors the person who  has  contributed
     the  most  during the year to the preservation of  the  town’s
