     Coal Mining
     
     In 1907 the paper announced the near completion of the facilities
     of  the  Pine  Run Coal Company, which would be “the finest  coal
     plant in the Kiskiminetas Valley.”  There was also the Hicks Coal
     Company, which built a row of “coaltown” type houses on the  Park
     Plan.
