The American Red Cross, Chestnut Ridge Chapter, serving Northern and Eastern Westmoreland County is offering an advanced certification course in CPR/AED for professional rescuers such as firefighters and lifeguards, or for anyone else who wants more advanced CPR training.

Participants will learn how to prevent disease transmission when giving care; how to assist adults, infants and children with breathing and cardiac emergencies, including 2-person rescue and use of a bag-valve mask.

The training is scheduled for Tuesday, July 29,2008 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the American Red Cross, Chestnut Ridge office at 2895-A Leechburg Rd, Lower Burrell. The cost is $70 per person. To register -call Sandy at (724) 337-6595. Space is limited - so call today!
